Members of the group forced the 41-year-old businessman in a car and took him to the village of Kholm in the Mozhaysk City District. Keeping the businessman in the bathhouse, they beat him and demanded 2 million rubles ($30,680) at gunpoint. Having received part of the required amount, as well as receipts for non-existent debts, the kidnappers released the man. A criminal case has been initiated into the kidnapping and extortion.
