Vor Guli takes control of Nizhnevartovsk. Local crime lord wounded
The police have detained representatives of the thief in law, who had been hiding in other cities after a shootout.
The struggle for control of the markets in Nizhnevartovsk has led to the attempted murder and special operations with the participation of SOBR special police. This is reported by Ura.ru referring to a source in security agencies.
The publication notes that more recently, the infamous vor Nadir Salifov aka Guli has begun to claim the trade facilities. First of all, he is interested in the Sibirsky Balagan fair and part of the central market. While abroad, he sent a representative to the city, who was supposed to resolve the issue with the local crime lords.
However, the negotiations were unsuccessful. A well-known Nizhnevartovsk crime lord was wounded at one of the meetings in late January.
Later, Yugra police officers together with SOBR special police detained the perpetrators of the crime, who were hiding in other cities after the shootout. Two suspects were detained in Kaspiysk, and one more in Moscow. They have been taken to Nizhnevartovsk.
The ICR Investigations Directorate in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District’s Yugra has initiated a criminal case under Attempt at Murder against them. They are under arrest.
Sources in law enforcement bodies note that it was only the first attempt to redistribute the market business of Nizhnevartovsk. They do not exclude that the second wave will follow soon.
“Of course, it’s not 90s; but such things aren’t that easy to get rid of,” the agency’s source in law enforcement bodies said.
Earlier, in late January, Ukrainian law enforcers busted a meeting of crime lords in the Donetsk region, which was dedicated to the birthday of Guli’s envoy. Shortly before this, the detained birthday boy had arrived in Ukraine to “establish the thieves’ order.”
