Underboss detained with drugs in Kursk region

In the Kursk region, a 39-year-old underboss for Sudzha and the Sudzha region has been detained on suspicion of drug trafficking, Head of the MIA Federal Drug Control Service in the Kursk region Aleksandr Timoshenko told 46TV. The detention was held with the support of the special unit Groza at the entrance to Sudzha.
There were a few more people in the car together with the underboss. The detainee immediately confessed to carrying a bag of marijuana. In addition, a synthetic drug bundle was found on him.
According to the press service of the Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the person detained was under the influence of narcotics. He refused to undergo a medical examination.
At the moment, the underboss has been detained and is in a pre-trial detention center. A criminal case has been initiated. According to Aleksandr Timoshenko, the arrestee is one of the leaders of the criminal underground of the Kursk region. He had been repeatedly convicted, including for sale of narcotic drugs. He was released about a year and a half ago. At the moment, he is being checked for involvement in other crimes.
