Thieves get in fistfight over woman
Apart from some internal issues, Lasha Barateli was accused of intimate relationship with the wife of his close ally Mindiya Goradze.
Thieves in law came hand-to-hand over a woman, a CrimeRussia’s source said. According to some reports, the fight involved recently uncrowned Lasha Barateli, also known as Chia, and his opponents from a rival group that includes Rezo, Jeyran, Chuto and Entso.
The skirmish took place in Turkey, where recently released from a Georgian prison Chia had been deported. The spicy part is that apart from some internal issues, Lasha Barateli was accused of intimate relationship with the wife of his close ally Mindiya Goradze, in the underworld known as Lavasogly Batumsky. The latter is currently in Tbilisi’s jail 7, where Chia had been up until recently.
The source did not rule out that Chia could have gotten into the hands of the adverse Rezo, Jeyran, Chuto and Entso through his, it appears, ex-friend. Whatever it was, when the Turks met Lasha, they showed what they thought about his dishonest ways in no uncertain terms.
The United States is considering two lawsuits against the "Russian mafia" at the same time; one is the criminal syndicate of the thief in law Razhden Shulaya and the other one is a Brighton Beach gang with an exaggerated name Vory v zakone ("Thieves in law"), although there are no actual thieves in law among the members. Reports from the court hearings tell us something about the relationship between the immigrant gangsters.
