Thief in law Kolya Kirgiz tackles construction of ethnic town on shores of lake
According to law enforcers, the ‘thief’ has tackled agricultural and travel industry.
‘Thief in law’ Kamchy Kolbaev (aka Kolya Kirgiz) has settled on the shores of Lake Issyk Kul where he has peasant household registered in the name of his parents, reports Vesti.kg with reference to a deputy head of the Criminal Police Service of MIA Azamat Toktonaliev.
The law enforcer says the unemployed ‘thief in law’ has now become law-abiding: he deals with agricultural industry and tackled construction of an ethnic town on the shores of the lake.
“He spends most of his time in his small native land - in Issyk Kul region’s town of Cholpon-Ata. No violations of law have lately been noticed,” Toktonaliev says.
In spite of it, law enforcers carry out preventative conversations with him on a regular basis.
“Kolbaev is not summone to the conversations, but taken when he’s on the way,” head of MIA clarified. In his words, they keep a check on who the ‘thief in law’ communicates with and what plans for the future he has.
It had earlier been reported that Kamchy Kolbaev had been in the United Arab Emirates.
