Thief in law Armen Khokhol and lawyer shot in Ukraine
In the spring, an electrical panel was blown up near Ando’s apartment.
At about noon, near a pre-trial detention center No. 6 in the Ukrainian town of Kropyvnytskyi, unidentified persons fired at the former deputy head of the regional police, lawyer Alexander Ivanov, and wounded Andranik Martirosyan, known in the criminal world as Ando, an assistant to “thief in law” Armen Khokhol. The attackers fled the scene.
According to one version, the killers intended to kill lawyer Ivanov. According to the other - Martirosyan. On April 9, they had already made an attempt to eliminate him: an electrical panel exploded near the door of the apartment. Now Ando is in the city hospital, he was wounded in the side and an arm.
On August 23, Martirosyan arrived to a pre-trial detention center No. 6 to visit his arrested son Arsen, suspected of killing a person three years ago. The deceased lawyer was hired to defend Arsen.
September 10 is the day when State Duma deputies return from summer vacation to the building on Okhotny Ryad. Among them is the hero of our previous investigation, the ‘Steel King of the South of Russia,’ Ivan Ivanovich Demchenko. The owner of the Abinsky Electrometallurgical Plant, which withdraws the profits of companies under its control to the accounts of foreign offshore companies, will once again start working as part of the Duma committee on regulations – it is an unchallenging job, necessary for parliamentary immunity of the deputy and his vast business, which brings billions of rubles annually.
