A criminal case has been instituted against thief in law Akhmed Yevloyev (Akhmed Sutuly) under Article 210.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Occupying the Highest Oosition in the Criminal Hierarchy).

In August last year, employees of the Main Administration of Criminal Search of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia together with the Administration of Criminal Search of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow Region detained him in Krasnogorsk with drugs. At a trial on choice of a preventive measure, Yevloyev stated that the drugs had been planted on him. Later, in the course of a further complex of operational-search measures and investigative activities, law enforcement officers established that since 1996 the detainee has had the status of a thief in law.

As the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Moscow region told Rosbalt, Akhmed Sutuly lived in Moscow, where he coordinated the actions of criminal groups in the capital, Khimki, Lyubertsy, and Krasnogorsk districts, as well as at the Sheremetyevo airport, created and maintained connections between them and other crime lords, took a direct part in the division of spheres of criminal influence and criminal proceeds.

Earlier, there was already an attempt to indict the crime boss under Art. 228 of the Criminal Code. He was detained in January 2017 at Moscow restaurant Chaykhana Al-Khalyal. During a personal search, officers of the Main Administration of Criminal Search of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia found a bag of spice on him. In this case, the 45-year-old crime lord spent in a pre-trial detention center a year, during which the investigative authorities were not able to formulate an indictment and pass the case to court. The thief in law was released due to the expiration of the deadlines for custodial detention, but the case was not closed.

Just a few days ago, it became known that another thief in law was charged with taking the highest position in the criminal hierarchy. We are talking about the 33-year-old grand-nephew of Zakhary Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy), Shalva Ozmanov (Kuso). Currently, he is being held in pre-trial detention center-3 in Moscow, known as Presnya, on charges of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm.
