When law enforcers arrived at Oleg Shishkanov’s mansion, a few tens of gunmen came in offroadsters to rescue him.

Assistants of a ‘thief in law’ Oleg Shishkanov (aka Shishkan, Oleg Ramensky) attempted to recapture him during detention, reports Rosbalt with reference to sources within law enforcement.

According to the agency, when Shishkan’s people knew about the attack on his house, a few tens of gunmen gathered at a prearranged place and set off for the rescue in a cortege of offroadsters. However, they found employees of the Federal Security Service and Russia’s MIA at the place, as well as employees of the Special Operations Forces. As a result, most of the assistants passed by. Only a few persons in white Hammer attempted to bother the law enforcers, but they were neutralized straight away.

Oleg Shishkanov was arrested under an ‘anti-thief’ article (article 210.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - Leadership in criminal hierarchy). Sources within law enforcement note that he is expected to be accused of arrangement of abduction of a deputy of the legislature of the Moscow region’s Ramensky district Tatiana Sidorova.
