Sweeping purge of thieves. Tyurik to try on Pichuga’s fate
Intelligence agencies were set a target to behead the highest caste of the criminal hierarchy in Russia. Judging by recent events, ‘coronation’ of the new boss of all bosses instead of arrested last summer Shakro Molodoy may not happen.
According to insider information of The CrimeRussia, the law inforcement agencies initiated two criminal cases in St. Petersburg against prominent thief in law Vladimir Tyurin, known by nickname Tyurik. The source notes that unlike most of prosecutions against criminals relating to drug trafficking, Tyurik is to face criminal liability for garve crimes. Both cases were initiated in connection with murders.
On February, 18 another influential criminal Yury Pichugin nicknamed Pichuga was detained in Moscow. Elite of thieves considered him as well as Tyurik one of the prospective successors of Zakhariy Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy), who has been in jail Lefortovo for six months already on charges of extortion and creating a criminal community.
Apart from Tyurik and Pichuga the communityof thieves also talks about another possible candidates for the post of Kalashov. It is Vasily Khristoforov (Vasya Voskres) among the criminals of so-called Slavic wing. Among Caucasian thieves in law, according to a source of The CrimeRussia, it is Gela Kardava (Gela) who aspires to take Shakro’s place. He is one of the most influential members of the clan of killed in January 2013 Aslan Usoyan (Ded Khasan).
Meanwhile, another source of The CrimeRussia previously reported that the security forces were given secret instruction on disrupting the upcoming elections of thief №1 until the presidential elections in 2018. The fact that the security forces have already been carrying out the order confirms the dispersal of thieves’ gathering in January in Moscow restaurant Batoni, where Vasya Voskres, Pichuga, Paat Malenky, Gia Dlinny and other criminals met to discuss candidates for a new boss. According to the source of The CrimeRussia that told about the criminal cases against Tyurik, one of the ‘authorities’ mentioned above may become the next client of security services in the framework of the gradual sweeping purge of thieves’ elite.
Elimination of Yury Pichugin’s criminal group, whol nomination in place of Shakro was supported by many thieves in law, also proves convincingly this trend. As well as the fact that the Slavic wing in thieves’ elite gradually dwindles, aided by actions of law enforcement bodies. In 2015 influential criminal Shishkan Ramenskiy was forced to turn tail and run as he was suspected of involvement in the disappearance of deputy Tatiana Sidorova and her family. Now it is the turn of Pichuga, and in the future there is high probability that his fate awaits Tyurik.
