Since early 2019 Ukraine’s police finds 7 thieves in law in country

Since early 2019, the National Police of Ukraine have found 7 ‘thieves in law’ in the country, reports UNN. The whereabouts of the ‘thieves’ was determined; 3 of them have already been deported from the country for violation of migration laws; another one is in a detention center for foreigners and persons without citizenship. His identity is expected to be determined, and he is expected to be deported soon.
Police emphasized that ‘thieves in law’ exert influence on Ukraine’s criminal world, take part in conflict situations in the criminal circles, as well as control the activity of parties who commit or plan extortion, robbery, theft, swindling, and carjacking.
In 2018, 14 ‘thieves in law’ were detained in Ukraine. 11 of them were deported from the country. Police noted that they do possess information on the plans of the ‘thieves’ regarding their arrival in the country during elections of the President for the purpose of destabilization.
