Thief in law Rezo Lotkinsky as a member of the organized criminal group extorted money from convicts.

Last week, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow decided to arrest Revaz Kakhmazov (Rezo Lotkinsky), a 44-year-old thief in law, in absentia. Previously, he was put on the international wanted list on charges of extortion committed as part of an organized group.

According to the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the mob got tribute from inhabitants of the colonies, mainly those who were accused of fraud and drug trafficking, through his loyalists in prisons located in Moscow, Moscow region, Tatarstan and Primorye. In total, investigators identified 21 episodes of extortion from 20 victims. At the same time, Rezo Lotkinsky’s accomplices reach 18 people.

It is known that now Kakhmazov is hiding under the name of Revaz Mendeki. Operatives do not exclude that the thief in law may be hiding in Albania, as he has citizenship. It is assumed that in the event of his capture, he may become one of the first mobs charged under the new “anti-thief” article, which suggests up to 15 years in prison for “occupying a higher position in the criminal hierarchy.”

The 44-year-old Kakhmazov was crowned at the suggestion of Zakhar Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy), whose son-in-law he was back in 1994. In 2010 he was decrowned by Eduard Asatryan (Edik Osetrina). However, he got the title back already two years later in Greece.
