Roskomnadzor tries to hide Robson's connections with thieves in law
In fact, the censorship department recognized the photographs of a “authoritative” businessman with representatives of the criminal elite as illegal.
Roskomnadzor demanded that Prime Crime news agency removes 10 articles from the site about the detention in May 2017 of the gangland Sochi entrepreneur Ruben Tatulyan in Karlovy Vary during the thieves’ gatherings.
The federal authority notified the news agency of a violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of personal data, referring to the definition of preliminary interim measures issued by the Tagansky District Court of Moscow on January 17, 2019, which states that the court established the fact that information was processed in the field of Internet personal data site in violation of the legislation of the Russian Federation.
It is noteworthy that, among the texts on Tatulyan, Roskomnadzor demanded that Prime Crime remove copyright materials from the CrimeRussia, Prague Telegraph, KONT and others media, which are published by the agency in the Other Media heading.
Ruben Tatulyan, Aslan Usoyan (Ded Hasan)
Ruben Tatulyan and Vagon
Giya Dangadze, Boris Sulava (Kicho), Vakho Chachanidze, Ruben Tatulyan
Ruben Tatulyan, Kostya Mogila, Timokha
All of them are united by one topic – the detention on May 13, 2017 of a gangland Sochi entrepreneur, who stubbornly denies his connections with the criminal world, at the Karlovy Vary “gathering” in the company of famous crime bosses Gayoz Zviadadze (Giya Kutaissky) and Gela Kardava (Gela Galsky), as well as the criminal authority of Artur Karadagayev, who had previously been declared wanted by the UFSB for the Krasnodar region for extortion of 1 million rubles ($15,000). However, the Czech police did not restrict freedom of Tatulyan, unlike of other participants of the meeting, since the businessman presented a diplomatic passport issued to him by the MFA of Armenia. Press Secretary of the MFA of Armenia Tigran Balayan confirmed issuing such a document to Tatulyan "for his active work aimed at the economic development of the country and attracting new investments," noting, however, that later the businessman lost the status of freelance adviser to the MFA of Armenia.
His presence at the May “meeting” was indirectly confirmed by Tatulyan himself, who provided a certificate issued by the Regional Directorate of the Czech Police on the fact of controlling the legality of his residence in Karlovy Vary on the date of the gathering.
The security forces of the Czech Republic remember this story reluctantly. The request of The CrimeRussia was firstly redirected by Czech law enforcement officers to each other, from one office to another, and then they sent an official document, according to which “Ruben Tatulyan’s personal freedom was not limited and no criminal proceedings were conducted against him.” Tatulyan himself in an interview with a number of Armenian and Russian Internet media says that he flew to Karlovy Vary to “heal”, that he does this regularly and does not know about any thieves in law. Although according to other sources, it was he who was the main sponsor of the gathering, the purpose of which was the coronation of the new crime bosses.
It is also known that information about the detention of Tatulyan along with thieves in law in Karlovy Vary was sent to the Russian MIA through Interpol, and the details of the operation were set out in the report of the Czech delegation at the International Police Forum Millennium in Moscow in June 2017.
Recall that Ruben Tatulyan, nicknamed Robson, is known as an entrepreneur and philanthropist, as well as Assistant to the State Duma Deputy Alexander Karelin and President of the Sochi Wrestling Federation. He is also a co-owner and chairman of the board of directors of Spa Hotel Vesna, Novy Vek Media and several commercial facilities in Sochi with a total area of about 70,000 sq. m with revenue of about 850-900 million rubles ($12.8-13.6 mln) a year.
However, there is another side to the coin. Robson has long been considered the former protege of Aslan Usoyan (Ded Hasan) in Sochi and other cities in southern Russia. And in December 2017, the US Federal Treasury added Tatulyan, along with the most influential thieves in law, to the list of persons in respect of whom the US authorities imposed sanctions.
As The CrimeRussia wrote earlier, in the sanctions list Tatulyan was in the company of thieves in law Zakhary Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy), Vasily Khristoforov (Vasya Voskres), Kamchibek Kolbaev (Kamchi Bishkek), Lasha Shushanashvili (Lasha Rustavsky), Vladislav Leontyev (Vadik Bely), Yuri Pichugin (Pichuga), Vladimir Tyurin (Tyurik), and two gangland businessmen Gafur Rakhimov (Gafur Cherny) and Alimzhan Tokhtakhunov (Taiwanchik) and the business structures under their control. According to the American department, all three businessmen repeatedly provided financial support to thieves in law.
Robson reacted quite emotionally to this decision of the American authorities, in an interview calling the US Treasury “morons” —Tatulyan has recently been actively working to “whitewash” his image, trying to convince the public that he is not involved in crime. In the fight against publications in the media, both lawsuits and threats of extrajudicial killings are used. But the facts in the form of numerous photographs in which Tatulyan poses with thieves in law are a stubborn thing. Roskomnadzor, by decision of the same court, also demanded that Prime Crime removes from the site the pictures in which Robzon poses with thieves in law Vakho Chachanidze, Gia Dangadze and Boris Sulava. In fact, the censorship department recognized Robson’s photographs with representatives of the criminal elite as illegal.
