Prominent thieves detained at Moscow’s gathering and then let go
A pretty rare ‘fish’ has been caught by the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, the CrimeRussia was told. The officers collared some influential thieves in law: Vasya Voskres, Pichuga, Gia Dlinny and Paata Malenky.
Security forces busted the first thief gathering this year with the most prominent criminals. According to available information, the meeting was held at Moscow Batoni restaurant located at Komsomolsky Avenue.
Moscow Criminal Investigation Department has caught a pretty rare ‘fish’, the CrimeRussia was told. The officers collared some influential thieves in law: Vasya Voskres, Pichuga (Little Bird), Gia Dlinny (Gia the Long) and Paata Malenky (Paata the Little). An inspection did not reveal any prohibited items or substances. Nevertheless, they were all questioned as a precaution, and released in peace.
The source added that Vasya Voskres, Pichuga, Gia Dlinny and Paata Malenky were recognized as kingpins who represent the Slavic and the Georgian thief clans in Moscow, respectively.

Saburova believes that the Russian authorities violated articles 2 and 5 of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, guaranteeing the right to life, as well as the right to freedom and personal inviolability.
