Operational shooting

Several firearms, including machine guns and pump-action rifles, and more than three hundred foreign passports were seized during searches in the robbery case against the counterfeiter.

Employees of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Odessa region in the framework of the investigation of the assault on the entrepreneur detained three members of the ethnic organized criminal group, controlled by the influential Azerbaijani thief in law Nadir Salifov (Guli).

According to the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the National Police, the assault on businessman Nikolai D. was committed on the afternoon of December 13, 2018 in a non-residential building on Agronomicheskaya Street in Malinovsky district of Odessa. Arriving near the businessman in a gray car with a Mercedes with Latvian license plates, four intruders opened fire on him from a firearm, seized money in the amount of 700,000 hryvnias ($26,000) and $23,000 and fled. The victim was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the hip.

Moreover, the victim himself had earlier fallen into the sight of law enforcement officers – he is accused under Article 199 of the Criminal Code – the manufacture, storage, purchase or sale of counterfeit money. At the moment, his criminal case is being considered by the Suvorov Court of Odessa. During searches, fake $20,000 in bills of $100 were seized in his possession.

On the same day, the police found the vehicle of the attackers, which they left near the scene of the incident. Subsequently, in the course of operational-search measures, law enforcement officers came out on the trail of suspects and detained three of them.

At the place of residence of the members of the organized criminal group 8 searches were conducted simultaneously. As a result, two automatic rifles, a pistol with a silencer, two pump guns, a Saiga carbine, cartridges of various caliber, communication equipment, money and more than 300 passports of Israel, Turkey, Uzbekistan, the United States, Russia and Moldova were seized. The seized things were sent for examination.

It is reported that the suspects detained yesterday are members of a criminal group controlled by the thief in law Nadir Salifova (Guli).

As previously reported by The CrimeRussia, the clan of Nadir Salifov, who was liberated after a long time from the Azerbaijani prison, systematically establishes control over the near-criminal business of Ukraine.

Guli, who lives in Turkey, operates in Ukraine through his emissaries. Ukrainian police detain them from time to time and expel them from the country. The last of them was detained at the end of January at a “gathering” in Mariupol, in which 45 people took part. In Odessa, the protégés of the Azerbaijani Guli are at enmity with the people of the Georgian thief in law Antimoz Kukhilava.
