Mob Tsirkach intends to take control of Moscow region pit-run business
This was stated by the press service of the Moscow region Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On the eve, four emissaries of famous kingpin Oleg Pirogov, nicknamed Tsirkach, were detained. Minions of the mob extorted 14 million rubles from the entrepreneur.
The press service of the State Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow region reported that the suspects forced the 45-year-old entrepreneur to sign four receipts of a fictitious debt in the amount of 6 million rubles, and also demanded to transfer the property to his company
As a result of the operational-search activities, the officers of the search department, with the force support of the Grom fighters in Stupino, extortionists were detained. It happened at the time when a businessman handed over documents of ownership of the company, totaling 8 million rubles, to the racketeers.
The detainees were four men aged from 30 to 42 years, one of whom has been repeatedly convicted in the past. During the personal search, two pistols and four bags with a spice drug with a total weight of about 35 grams were found and seized from the detainees.
The police found that the participants of the organized criminal group acted on behalf of thief in law Oleg Pirogov, known more in the criminal environment as Tsirkach. The press service of the State Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Moscow region stated that the mob “intends to take control of the career business of the Moscow region.”
Currently, criminal cases under articles Extortion and Illegal Acquisition, Storage, Transportation, Manufacture, Processing of Narcotic Drugs are initiated against extortionists. All detainees are arrested.
It concerns entrepreneur Dmitry Motorin, Boris Usherovich, a co-owner of the Group of Companies 1520, and Novoe Vremya board member, Ivan Stankevich. Motorin is accused of giving a bribe on an especially large scale, and Stankevich and Usherovich are charged with bribe-taking.
This week, the judicial debates in the trial of Vladimir Barsukov-Kumarin charged with creation of Tambovskie organized criminal group have been finished in the Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg. If the court upholds the stance of the state prosecution, the once-influential criminal ‘authority’ may be convicted to almost 25 years behind bars.
