Meet the new crime lord: Shishkan occupies main thieves’ throne
The largest mob summit of criminal ‘generals’ in recent years has been held in Moscow.
The thieves have confirmed thief in law Oleg Shishkanov (Shishkan) in the position of the main thief of the country and the holder of the world’s common fund. To recall, his candidacy was put forward in March after it became known that the court sentenced the former ‘boss of all bosses’ Zakhary Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy) to 9 years and 10 months in prison. At the same time, according to a tradition, regardless of the degree of influence, a thief in law does not have the right to declare himself a ‘thief No. 1.’ To claim this title, they need an official proposal from other thieves, to which the candidate must respond with consent.
This summit, which was held in one of the elite restaurants in Luzhniki controlled by Mikhail Voevodin (Misha Luzhnetsky), was attended by such influential thieves as Vasily Khristoforov (Vasya Voskres), Dmitry Chanturiya (Miron), Aleksey Petrov (Petrik), Sergey Aksenov (Aksen), Badri Koguashvili (Badri Kutaissky), Kakhaber Parpaliya (Kakha), Elgudzha Turkadze (Gudzha Kutaissky), and Merab Gogiya (Meliya), Rosbalt reports.
At first, the participants discussed other important issues. For example, the increasing activity of thief in law Nadir Salifov (Guli) or Tariel Oniani’s (Taro) life-long ban on entry to Russia, Kalashov’s long sentence, and much more. Finally, they proceeded to the main topic. There was no one objecting against Shishkan’s candidature. Therefore, all criminal underworld representatives, who contribute to the common fund, will be notified about the decision of the ‘meeting’ in the near future.
At the same time, the opinion of other representatives of the criminal underground, who were unable to participate in the summit for one reason or another, was taken into account when confirming Shishkan. In particular, Eduard Asatryan (Edik Osetrina) expressed his approval of the new ‘boss of all bosses.’ The clan of Lasha Shushanashvili (Lasha Rustavsky), who had been recently detained in Greece, also supported Shishkan. Moreover, Shishkan’s candidature did not cause a rejection from the longtime enemy of all followers of Ded Hasan, Merab Dzhangveladze (Merab Sukhumsky). Apparently, he understood that after the expulsion of Taro from Russia, the way to the ‘thieves' Olympus’ was tabooed to him.
According to the agency, there is no contact with Kalashov, who has been already transferred from Krasnaya Presnya pre-trial detention center, however, according to the information received earlier, he also has no objections against Shishkan.
The only one, who said that “we don’t need a king,” was Guli.
Nevertheless, Shishkanov is the most suitable candidate for the main post in the thieves’ world, with which the majority is satisfied. In addition, he has become the first ‘Slavic’ thief, replacing the Yezidi Kurds — Aslan Usoyan and Zakhary Kalashov — in the place of ‘boss of all bosses.’
Not so much time has passed since the death of Igor ‘Adolf’ Minakov, and, as many predicted, the silent transition to possible successors of the funeral empire, which he built on the shoulders of his mobs, failed. The newly-emerging representatives of ritual services not only steal the bread from the mouths of former ‘royal subjects,’ but also control the city elections with their fists.
