According to RIA Novosti, after raids that took place in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Moscow Region, there were found large sums of money (30 thousand dollars and 70 thousand euros) and a collection of luxury watches in the amount of EUR 500 000 from arrested senior officers of Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation. Who is the owner of an expensive collection is unknown. The searches were carried out at the place of work and residence of the detainees.
It is to be recalled that three senior investigators were arrested on July 19 by the FSB. They are suspected of taking bribes for protection the thief in law Shakro Molodoy. On the same day all the detainees were arrested by the decision of the Moscow Lefortovo court.
