Ildar Ufimsky arrested in Moscow Region
Thief in law Ildar Ufimsky has been detained in the Moscow Region by the Criminal Investigation operatives with the help of traffic police inspectors from the Mytishchinskoe Intermunicipal MIA Directorate.
According to the MIA press service, a Mercedes Benz vehicle belonging to previously convicted 52-year-old Ildar Asyanov had been stopped in the village of Yudino, the Mytishchi district. According to law enforcers information, Asyanov is a member of an ethnic organized crime group supplying drugs to the Moscow Region.
Personal search of Asyanov revealed a package with white powder, which turned out to be heroin with total weight of 5.86 grams, and was later seized.
A criminal case for illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs under Article 228 of the Russian Criminal Code has been initiated against Ildar Ufimsky.
Ildar Ufimsky, or Asyan, was crowned in 1993 while serving another sentence. According to MIA, after his release, the thief in law established control over robbers, extortionists, and shadow bankers. As media reported, he was the organizer of a criminal group, which consisted of five groups and the total number of at least 100 members.
Lieutenant General Oleg Troshin announced he is going to retire in May 2018. He is doing it following a decision taken a year ago – not due to non-existent issues with the agency reported by some local media outlets.
A serious and not at all political clash of interests is taking place at the Russian Federation Council. Kamchatka senators Valery Ponomarev and Boris Nevzorov are failing at deciding how to divide the Kamchatka water resources; both men make millions of dollars off of them every year.
