Guli gives back ‘crown’ to Arman Kaluzhsky who had been ‘uncrowned’ 20 years ago
Arman Kaluzhsky was ‘crowned’ again. It happened during the meeting when Kvezhoevich was beaten up.
‘Thief in law’ Nadir Salifov (aka Guli) has ‘crowned’ again Arman Janinyan (aka Arman Kaluzhsky) who lost his ‘title’ 20 years ago. It happened during the meeting when Kvezhoevich was beaten up.
Besides Guli, Arman Kaluzhsky was recognized as a ‘thief in law’ by ‘thieves’ Otari Totochia (aka Batya) and Yura Usoyan (aka Yura Lazarevsky). Shortly before, there were highly fraught debates on the recognition of his status. The initiative to give back the ‘crown’ to Janinyan is reported to have been launched by Totochia, however it could not happen without the influence of Salifov. Guli called most of the active ‘thieves’ around Armenia, including those who had complaints against Arman. So, he made sure there were no unsolved issues.
Janinyan served more than 16 years - mostly for robbery and extortion. He was ‘crowned’ in 1996 upon recommendation of an Armenian ‘thieves’ patriarch’ Maels Mkrtchyan (aka Kndo). But in 1999, Janinyan did not visit a ‘convention’ to reply to a complaint by Mais Kirovokansky (aka Mais Karapetyan) and lost his ’title’ that way. 2 years before Karapetyan was murdered, he did not manage to settle all the issues with him. Nevertheless, after that, Janinyan continued calling himself a ‘thief’ in spite of a threat of massacre.
In April, 2001, 10 ‘thieves in law’ confirmed Janinyan was no longer a ‘thief’. In 2003, when Kaluzhsky was serving his sentence in the Irkutsk region, he was isolated from the rest of the inmates due to threats he had received from Tyurik (aka Vladimir Tyrin) and Takha (aka Georgy Uglava).
At the present time, Janinyan has no disagreements with any of the ‘thieves’. In particular, Shakro Molodoy (Zakhary Kalashev) did not object against the renewal of his ’status’.
