Gia Galsky expelled from Russia for fake passport
In 2015, the crowned thief became quite famous in Russia after the press had learned of his secret marriage to an ex-soloist of Tatu, Yulia Volkova.
Crowned thief Georgy Zarandia, known in the criminal underworld as Gia Galsky, obtained his fake Russian passport in the Saratov region.
This fact was established at the trial in the St. Petersburg District Court of the Saratov region against former Acting Head of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) local department, who had illegally issued a Russian passports to a foreign citizen on July 15, 2013. However, the criminal case against the former official was closed under the amnesty in honor of the 70th anniversary of the victory in WWII, the Russian Investigative Committee Department in the Saratov region reported.
Meanwhile, the agency SarInform learned that the foreigner, who illegally received a Russian passport three years ago, was none else but Gia Galsky. In May 2016, the notorious thief in law forgot his passport in a Moscow hotel room. After that law enforcement agencies managed to track down and arrest him.
The Khoroshevsky District Court of Moscow found Zarandia guilty of an administrative offense for illegally staying in Russia, fined him and expelled from the country, the MIA General Administration in Moscow stated.
Citing its source, SarInform notes that the kingpin has already been expelled to Georgia.
As the CrimeRussia previously reported, the Russian media learned about Georgy Zarandia in 2015, after the former singer of Tatu, Yulia Volkova, had become pregnant and secretly married him.
Sometime later, the singer officially denied this information on her website, but in the summer of 2016, the media found out that she was still in a relationship with the crowned thief.
Gia Galsky was crowned in the summer of 2011 in the Kaluga region by the Gela and Gizo Kordavas, Vladimir Zhurakovsky (better known as Vova Pukhly), Roland Gegechkori and Merab Mzarelua.
