Old files about similar disappearances are being looked through.

Investigators working on the case of abduction of Tatyana Sidorova, a deputy of the Ramensky District legislature, and her family, are planning to issue an arrest warrant for the closest assistant of thief in law Shishkan (Oleg Shishkanov), Yegor E., known as Pan Ataman or Yegorka, Rosbalt reports with reference to sources in law enforcement agencies.

According to the agency interlocutor, Pan Ataman had been seen in the deputy’s office just before her disappearance, and the conversation was clearly aggressive, according to witnesses. Later, people associated with Yegor were seen near Sidorova’s house.

Rosbalt’s source said that Yegor began his career as Shishkanov’s personal driver, but quickly grew climbed up the ladder to become the right-hand man of the crime lord responsible for money issues. Pan Ataman represented the thief in law in Plemzavod Ramenskoye, co-owned by MP Sidorova. The company received 4.5-million-rubles’ worth of loans for the reconstruction. Rosbalt’s source believes that no more than 10-15% of the amount was actually allocated to pay for the work, while Shishkan’s henchmen must have taken the rest. When it was time to account for the funds, Sidorova, who was going to report the group’s actions and allegedly received threats from Yegor, disappeared with her family.

Investigators are inclined to believe that Sidorova and her relatives are dead.

Rosbalt reported that Ramenskoye started talking about Shishkanov’s impending detention as far back as a month ago. Pan Ataman disbanded his mob and hastily left Russia. A week later, his wife disappeared as well. Shishkanov had been certain sure that he would not be arrested until the last moment, so he stayed in the country.

Sources of the agency say that there could have been other families of entrepreneurs who disappeared in Ramenskoye district due to their wars with Shishkan’s men aside from the Sidorovs. Old files about similar disappearances are being looked through.
