Viktor Trutnev, ex-Head of the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, has finished his career ‘in style’ – he went to jail. Trutnev was turned in by his former accomplices – FSB officers trying to extort 3 million rubles ($52.3 thousand) from the Director of Snegirev Research Technological Institute in exchange for covering up violations identified at the enterprise.
