Dato Krasnodarsky dethroned due to loss of confidence
According to available data, David Dzhangidze was ‘stopped’ after he had not left his patron despite the decision of thieves in law.
Powers of 32-year-old thief in law David Dzhangidze, known in the criminal world under nickname Dato Krasnodarsky, were stopped. Merab Dzhangveladze also known as Merab Sukhumsky is considered the godfather of Dzhangidze, who was crowned at Cyprus gathering in summer 2013. Reasons for criminals’ dethronement are usually vague, but in case of Dato Krasnodarsky there is still some information.
According to some reports, Dzhangveladze stopped his godson in powers because of disobedience. This refers to a story that took place in July 2016. In the evening of August 23, Krasnodar witnessed the third attempt to kill prominent businessman Mindiya Gulua. The assassination attempt on Gulua occurred on Chekistov Avenue in Yubileyny district in Krasnodar. An unknown person shot the businessman and a bodyguard staying beside him, got into the car and fled. Later investigators, who came to the place of emergency, found the car abandoned in a nearby yard and burned. Some reports say that the vehicle had weapons and bullets, one of which detonated during the fire. The blast hit a passing man. Gulua, his guard, as well as a pedestrian who got a gang bullet were hospitalized.
Then the source reported that the incident was already the third failed attempt of the interested parties to eliminate Mindiya Gulua. According to information from open sources, Gulua is the founder of four companies – CJSC MAG Companies Group, LCC Kras FM, LCC Borzhomi Center and LCC MGL group. At the same time it is known that in the Krasnodar region he proactively lobbied the interests of the clan of Merab Dzhangveladze (Merab Sukhumsky), which includes David Dzhangidze (used to include) and Tengiz Lakerbaya also known as Tengo Sukhumsky. According to the source, the group of now arrested Shakro Molodoy confronts Sukhumsky clan in the Kuban. Dato Ozmanov (Dato Krasnodarsky), Ara Muradyan, known as Ara Armavirsky and Shalva Ozmanov nicknamed Kuso represent his interests.
According to reports, Dzhangidze lost his title after, contrary to the decision of thieves in law, did not leave his benefactor Mindiya Gulua, whose relations with Merab Sukhumsky deteriorated. Some reports reveal that Dato was stopped in the powers with "loss of confidence" wording.
