Crime lord fatally wounded in Irkutsk
The murder occurred as a result of a quarrel between two groups of men.
Last night, a 30-year-old local resident, crime boss close to mafia enforcer Kolya Lyuki, was fatally wounded near Pekin restaurant in the city of Cheremkhovo, Irkutsk region. According to sources of Novy Irkutsk, Kolya Lyuki, in turn, is a close friend and business partner of the city Mayor Vadim Semenov.
It is known that the conflict began after the two companies had a little spat in the restaurant. The verbal skirmish quickly morphed into a fight, which was disrupted by the staff of the establishment. However, the men were not over it yet and went out to have it out. During the brawl, someone used a firearm. The young man died from the injury in hospital.
A criminal case has been opened into the murder. The persons participating the row are being established.
Mass protest rallies have been taking place in Moscow on a regular basis since the beginning of this summer. People are protesting for lots of different reasons. However, the reaction of the law enforcement authorities is always the same: repression. What is the reason behind the brutality shown during the dispersion of mass rallies? A conscious intimidation policy or incompetence of law enforcement functionaries escalating the violence and unable to imagine the potential consequences of this?
