Crime group member detained in Sol-Iletsk for slaying crime lord
Nariman Zhumagaziev was killed on the night of June 9.
Sol-Iletsk District Court has arrested the alleged killer of crime lord Nariman Zhumagaziev, reports ProOren. The man was charged with Murder committed by a group of persons (part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Zhumagaziev was shot on the night of June 9 in the parking lot of Zodiak cafe in the center of Sol-Iletsk. The crime boss, 30, was attacked by a whole group of men. He died on the spot from the injuries received. The attack was caught by surveillance cameras.
Shortly after the attack, the police found two cars, in which the alleged criminals left. On June 10, a 36-year-old resident of the Orenburg region was detained. It is reported that officially he did not work anywhere and has a criminal record. The investigative authorities believe he is an active member of one of the organized crime groups.
It was reported that the dead could be close to thief in law Rashid Khachatryan (Rashid Dzhambulsky). The Investigative Committee and the police have not officially confirmed or denied this information. The group of Rashid Dzhambulsky, who was freed from a colony in the summer of 2018, is engaged in selling stolen cars, weapons and drugs.
The intel scandal involving Oleg Smolenkov, who had access to the Kremlin and possessed valuable information, has become a widely discussed topic. It was CNN who reported, citing sources in the CIA and Donald Trump administration, on the “informant” being evacuated from Russia in 2017. It turned out that for certain people in Russia, the spy’s disappearance was not a secret, while the Russian elite denied the fact of espionage in unison with the American one. The Smolenkov family was forced to leave their luxurious mansion in Virginia, and their current whereabouts are unknown. Smolenkov’s “patron,” Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation for the International Sector Yury Ushakov, continues to fulfill his duties. The CrimeRussia looked into the story of “exfiltration” of the top informant and the possible consequences of his work as an intelligencer.
