Artem Kanevskoy’s apartment searched in case into murder of ‘thief in law’ Ando Khromoy

Law enforcers were searching for weapon and ammunition in the authority’s apartment.

Police of Armenia have carried out searches in an apartment of an ‘authority’ Artem Kanevskoy (aka Artem Arutyunyan), a brother of a deceased ‘thief in law’ Armen Arutyunyan (aka Armen Kanevskoy) in a case into murder of a ‘thief in law’ Ando Khromoy (Andranik Arutyunyan), reports News Armenia with reference to Kanevskoy’s lawyer Vardui Elbakyan.

Elbakyan says her apartment’s apartment was searched by an order of Yerevan’s general jurisdiction court. Law enforcers were searching for illegally purchased weapon and ammunition in the authority’s apartment. As a result, weapon of the authority’s relative that had been purchased legally was found in the apartment.

After the searchers, Artem Kanevskoy was summoned to the police where he gave an explanation.

A few criminal ‘authorities’ and ‘thieves in law’ were earlier reported to have been interrogated in the case into murder of Ando Khromoy. It is not specified who exactly was present during the interrogation, however it was reported that the representatives of the criminal world were asked to tell their own theory on the matter.

Andranik Arutyunyan (aka Ando Khromoy or Massivtsy Andik) was murdered in the evening, on July 2, in Yerevan. The killer shot him when the latter was playing backgammon in his own backyard. He was not taken to a hospital in time.

Ando Khromoy had a conflict with another ‘thief’ and a representative of Leninakansky clan Andranik Sogoyan (aka Zap). He took part in beating of Zap in 2016 at the ‘convention’ in Yerevan due to the fact that the latter was suspected of cooperation with authorities.
