Zakharchenko has named entrepreneur who gave him bribe
The Moscow City Court refused to release from custody the detained on September 8 MIA Colonel Zakharchenko, in the apartment of whose sister it was found currency by 8.5 billion rubles.
Lawyers of the Acting Head of the Department T of the GUEBiPK Dmitry Zakharchenko asked the court to change the measure of restraint in the form of detention, which the Presnensky court of Moscow designated him on 10 September, on house arrest. However, the court turned them down.
Zakharchenko himself participated in the hearing via video link, established with the detention facility. Arrested by two months the Colonel promised to fully support the investigation, but did not plead guilty.
Also, at the hearing it became known some new details of high-profile criminal case.
In particular, it was found out that Dmitry Zakharchenko is accused of taking bribes from the shareholder of holding Rusengineering Anatoly Pshegornitsky, who has previously appeared in the case files and the media as unidentified person.
According to investigators, on December 25, 2015, the Colonel Zakharchenko met him in the Kitchen Village restaurant. According to the materials of wiretapping, which was conducted by the FSB during the meeting, the Colonel was transferred a bribe in the amount of 7 million rubles.
"I knew that since March 2015 the Department M of the FSB me keeps tabs on me. I met up with my good friend Anatoly Pshegornitsky. In restaurants and cafes it often brought the so-called plate. In the restaurant near the Slavinsky lane, in Coffeemania on Nikitskaya I was brought a special plate, through which I was recorded. The same was in the Kitchen Village and we immediately realized this. It was so obvious that we began to joke," - said Zakharchenko at the hearing on 27 September.
Meanwhile, the accused told at the first trial, and later in the detention center at Petrovka to human rights activists that the unidentified person is his friend and it was not a bribe.
He also noted that in the case file there is no negotiation with the manager of Nota-Bank Marchukova, whom, according to the investigation, he warned of the impending search and operational search activities. In addition, he claimed that the investigation against him was authorized by the Head of the Department M of the FSB Sergey Alpatov.
Recently, the FSB officers visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Primorsky District of St. Petersburg. The operatives of the Department M came to the police officers accompanied by the investigator and the search warrant. They were looking for evidence on the fact of falsification of a criminal case. However, a similar situation for the Primorsky Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is more likely to be a regular show: the staff of the administration and its superiors have appeared in high-profile criminal cases as defendants far too often.
