Zakharchenko complains about cold and lack of water in detention center
The decoy of the high-profile corruption case the Colonel Zakharchenko forced to sit in the chamber in a quilted jacket.
The Deputy Head of the Department T of the GUEBiPK Interior Ministry the Colonel Dmitry Zakharchenko complains about the conditions of detention in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center.
"It was very cold in the chamber. He himself sat in the chamber in a quilted jacket,"- quotted RIA Novosti words of the Deputy Chairman of the Metropolitan Public Oversight Commission Eva Merkacheva. According to her, Zakharchenko also complained of water shortages and the fact that he allegedly took away medical ointments. Note that currently the Police Colonel is in quarantine chamber, from where he was to be transferred to the general one.
The Acting Head of the GUEBiPK Ministry of Internal Affairs Dmitry Zakharchenko was transferred to the pre-trial detention center Lefortovo from the PTDC at Petrovka on 19th September. On the eve of the transfer to the Detention Unit, he was nervous. The Police Colonel told human rights defenders that he feared torture in the center.
As previously reported by the CrimeRussia, Zakharchenko was detained by the FSB and the ICR on 8 September. During the search in the apartment of his sister it was found currency to 8.5 billion rubles, a record for the amount seized from corrupt Russians.

Kochkin is detained in the headquarters building and brought to the police department, where policemen drew up a protocol under Violating the Established Procedure for Arranging or Conducting a Meeting, Rally, Demonstration, Procession or Picket (part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). According to the activist, in the near future he will go on trial.
