Vice-mayor of Yoshkar-Ola arrested for bribe-taking
The official is suspected of attempting to receive 250 thousand rubles.
Vice-mayor of Yoshkar-Ola Andrei Zagainov was taken into custody on suspicion of attempting to take a bribe in the amount of 250 thousand rubles ($ 3660). This is reported by RBC with reference to the press service of the ICR.
A criminal case has been initiated, the necessary investigative actions are conducted regarding the suspect. As reported on the website of the MIA for Mari El, the case was initiated under part 3 of Art. 30 and clause “c” of part 5 of Art. 290 CCRF (attempt to bribe-taking on a large scale by an official).
In early June, the court completed the investigation into the criminal case against the former head of Mari El, Leonid Markelov. Also, investigative actions were conducted in relation to his deputy, ex-minister of agriculture and food of the Republic Iraida Dolgusheva and director of the media holding company Telekompaniya 12 Region (TV Company 12th Region) Natalia Kozhanova.
According to the investigation, Markelov received a bribe of more than 235 million rubles ($ 3,445 million). In addition, he is accused of acquiring and storing ammunition.
The kid reasoned that his 70-year-old grandmother would suffer because of what he was going to do to himself and therefore decided to kill her. He stabbed the woman 21 times and finished her off with a hammer.
