Ulyukaev’s lawyers satisfied with security head Feoktistov’s interrogation
Ex-Head of Rosneft’s security service Oleg Feoktistov has been interrogated an hour and a half behind closed doors.
The defense is satisfied with the interrogation of one of the main witnesses in the case of Aleksey Ulyukaev. Lawyer Timofey Gridnev said it to journalists after a court hearing.
“We are very happy. Everything fits perfectly into our position,” the lawyer said.
The court decided to interrogate FSB General Feoktistov behind closed doors after the letter read aloud to the FSB, in which Feoktistov refused to give evidence in an open mode for security reasons, and also asked to classify this part of the trial.
The next hearing is to take place on September 26.
To recall, the ex-minister of economic development is accused of taking a bribe of $2 million from Head of Rosneft Igor Sechin. It was this amount, according to Sechin, that the ex-minister demanded for the approval by his department of Rosneft’s transaction to buy the shares of Bashneft.
Nonexistent road. Driveway to school belonging to Sberbank CEO’s wife concealed from Moscow residents
A driveway to a private school has been laid through the yards of Wellton Park residential complex despite protests of its residents. However, officials in the Construction Department somehow believe that there is no road there yet. They claim that the ‘future’ road would provide access to the new perinatal center, school, and homes – while at this point, a contractor has been just selected and permission documentation is in preparation. The CrimeRussia was figuring out where does the ‘nonexistent’ road go.
