Two traffic policemen to be tried for bribery in Krasnodar region
In the Krasnodar region, two former traffic police inspectors are accused of taking bribes.
Both men had been employees of the road patrol service of the Regional MIA traffic police for the Krymsk region. To date, the corrupt police have been dismissed from the bodies.
According to investigation authorities, November 30 last year, the two traffic police officers were on duty on the road Krymsk-Dzhiginka. There was a small accident: VAZ-2107 drove off the road into a ditch, as the driver turned out to be drunk. The policemen who arrived on the scene found that the driver was not only drunk, but was also deprived of his driving license. In addition, he did not have insurance on the car.
Traffic police officers offered the driver a deal; he would pay them 30 thousand rubles for not reporting about the accident to the duty police department, therefore, we would not be brought to administrative responsibility.
A few days later, they received the required amount from the driver and tried to escape, but were arrested.
Investigation into this criminal case is ongoing.
The Kremlin was told that they use Telegram for internal communications. However, if it is blocked, the staff of the Presidential Administration is ready to switch to another messenger, said Dmitry Peskov.
Deputy of Izhevsk Zakhar Milostivenko was detained the day before on suspicion of "restricting competition". Sources clarify that the case of the parliamentarian is connected with the criminal case of Alexander Soloviev, accused of multimillion bribes.
