Two officers of Dagestan MIA Criminal Investigation commit fraud over $355
A criminal case under part 3 of Art. 159 of the Russian Criminal Code has been initiated against two officers of the Dagestan MIA Criminal Investigation Department. It was previously reported about the detention of Head of the Dagestan MIA Criminal Investigation Department Organized Crime Investigation Division, Colonel Khaybula Ibnukhadzharov.
The officers decided to commit the fraud with travel expenses, providing fake documents and thus ‘earning’ from 10 to 20 thousand rubles ($177-355); after that, they disposed of the money at their discretion, the ICR noted.
The fact that two officers of the Dagestani police are suspected of fraud with accounting documents for business trips, on the basis of which they illegally received money to compensate expenses, was previously reported by the Republic MIA’s press service. It is currently being decided to dismiss the employees for negative reasons.
