Tver: ICR Colonel arrested on second attempt

Former Deputy Head of the ICR Procedural Control department of in the Tver region Denis Zhukov was arrested on suspicion of receiving a 1.5 million rubles ~ $25.500 bribe (part 6, Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Earlier, on June 28, the Zavolzhsky District Court of Tver left the petition of the investigation without consideration. For 1.45 million rubles, he promised to push for the adoption of a decision on the criminal prosecution termination in favor of the defendant in one of the criminal cases, which was in the work of the employees of the regional ICR.
