Traffic police officer caught selling 'fancy' license plates in Novosibirsk
In Novosibirsk, a traffic police officer selling 'fancy' license plates has been caught.
A criminal case under Bribe-Taking has been initiated against the police officer.
According to investigation, the inspector of one of the inter-district departments of the Technical Supervision and Registration of Motor Vehicles of the MIA Main Administration in the Novosibirsk region would sell the license plates for 10 and 17 thousand rubles.
The regional AMIA added that the corrupt policeman will be dismissed from law enforcement bodies. Moreover, he will be legally punished for his actions. As for his direct leadership, a disciplinary penalty awaits them.
Investigating authorities have filed a petition and asked to place in custody the policeman suspect in bribery, however, after considering the investigation's materials, the judge selected a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest for the suspect. The investigation into the case continues.
