Sverdlovsk railway ex-head shot himself in Moscow after release from house arrest
According to Mash, Mironov, who was respected among railway workers, could not accept the imprisonment and tarnished reputation.
The former Head of the Sverdlovsk railway (SvZhD) shot himself dead in Moscow, according to public page Mash.
“Upon her return from Moscow to the village of Islavskoye on Rublyovka, the wife of the ex-Head of SvZhD found the corpse of her spouse in the cottage,” said a source of Ura.ru.
Alexey Mironov was rounded up on December 13, 2018. Subsequently, he was arrested and placed in the detention center. Criminal proceedings were instituted against Mironov under the articles on Bribe-Taking by an official and Abuse of Official Powers. Then he was put under house arrest.
The suicide of Alexey Mironov does not look logical - on June 14, the court released him from house arrest because of inconsistencies in the criminal case. Many did not believe in his guilt. According to Mash, Mironov, who was respected among railway workers, could not accept the incarceration. Unable to withstand the charges and tarnished reputation, he fell into depression. He tried to obtain justice and return to the railway.
