Stavropol: Deputy head of tax service arrested for $106,000-damage to budget
In Stavropol, deputy head of the Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service No. 12 is being prosecuted. He is charged with abuse of official powers.
According to the regional ICR, due to the officer's inaction, a businessman has not been held accountable for a tax offense he had committed. The businessman stated that he had given the money to the Head of the Main Directorate of Interdepartmental Cooperation and Internal Security of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) for "advancing the case" on the watch stolen from him by ICR officers.
