'Sponsor' of Ulyukaev's bribe revealed
According to the testimony of General of Russian Federal Security Service Oleg Feoktistov, Valery Mikhailov gave money for carrying out the investigative experiment.
Money, for the investigative experiment, during which on the 14th of November, 2016 head of Rosneft Igor Sechin gave $2 million to Minister of Economic Development Alexey Ulyukaev, were provided by Valery Mikhailov. It is stated in the testimony of General of the Russian Federal Security Service Oleg Feoktistov, who told this on the 5th of June 2017, during the preliminary investigation. RBC checked testimony of the General. Two sources, who are familiar with the case, confirmed to RBC the authenticity of the document.
There is no stemp ‘confidential’ on this case, Larisa Kashtanova, lawyer of Ulyukaev, explained RBC that it is impossible to classify separate evidence. "If it was confidential, it would be a case of the Moscow City Court [and not the Zamoskvoretskiy District Court]", she added. Lawyers of the ex-Minister refused to comment Feoktistov's testimony.
On the 27th of October, 2016 Feoktistov wrote a statement addressed to Head of Russian Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, that Ulyukaev extorted a bribe from Sechin during BRICS summit in Goa. During this period, the General was also Vice President of security department of Rosneft — he worked there from September 2016 to March 2017.
The General is now a witness in Ulyukaev’s case. Feoktistov had 15 minutes interrogation and investigation called him as staff member of the Department P of Russian Federal Security Service (this department is responsible for industrial sector). The General mentioned an "investor", who twice gave $2 million for the investigative experiment in his testimony. In the first case, he is called as an unnamed "employee of the company". Then Feoktistov said that he received money from a "friend, whose name is Valery Alexandrovich Mikhailov — the employee of a company, somehow related to Rosneft". RBC failed to contact Feoktistov.
Feoktistov gave his evidence in Ulyukaev’s case behind closed doors. Lawyer of Ulyukaev, Larisa Kashtanova, said during the trial that the General called the source of the money, as "private investors". "During preliminary investigation, personal data of the "private investor", his place of work and connections with Rosneft were constantly changing ", — the lawyer said on the 7th of December, while she took part in the debate. She did not tell the name of the investor.
Valery Alexandrovich Mikhailov is not on the affiliated list of Rosneft (shareholders of the company, the board of directors, heads of subsidiaries are in the list). A source close to the company claims that there is no employee in Rosneft with such a name.
RBC checked the database of SPARK-Interfax and found that people, who are named, Valery Alexandrovich Mikhailov relate to 90 entities, including 41 operating companies. According to open data only four of them are connected with Rosneft. This are Belarusian UPNP and KRS, Biznestrast LLC and Profitinvest and Dvorets Romanova M. M. LLC. The last three companies are linked.

The gray cardinal of Karachay-Cherkessia (KChR), Senator Rauf Arashukov used opportunities to influence the Cherkessian community of the region, especially youth. He was nominated to the post of Prime-Minister of the republic. However, no one shared his political wishes and methods of struggle. According to the sources of The CrimeRussia, the Senator masterminded the murder of youth movement leader Aslan Zhukov in 2010. Many people knew about, the witnesses of a high-profile crime testified against him. But the political weight and ties terminated the case. And even the self-proclaimed killer was unable to prove his guilt in court. However, as it became known the other day, six years after his acquittal, he gave himself up once again.
