Сourt arrested Tver region MED's Deputy Head for bribery

The Central District Court of Tver arrested Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Tver region Denis Ilyin, suspected of bribe-taking in a large scale, for two months. This was reported on the website of the Judicial Department of the Tver region.
"The official is suspected of committing a crime under item (c), part 5 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code (Bribe-Taking on an especially large scale)," said in a statement.
It is noted that the defense applied for a house arrest, but the court did not grant the petition.
There is no official comment from the investigating authorities on the criminal case against the Deputy Minister at the moment, but according to local media, the official is suspected of receiving bribes in the amount of 4 million rubles.
The Kremlin was told that they use Telegram for internal communications. However, if it is blocked, the staff of the Presidential Administration is ready to switch to another messenger, said Dmitry Peskov.
Deputy of Izhevsk Zakhar Milostivenko was detained the day before on suspicion of "restricting competition". Sources clarify that the case of the parliamentarian is connected with the criminal case of Alexander Soloviev, accused of multimillion bribes.
