Сourt arrested Novgorod Deputy Ivlev for 2 months
Novgorod regional Duma Deputy from the Edinaya Rossiay faction Yuri Ivlev is arrested by the Moscow Ostankino court until 7 February 2017 on charges of $ 2 million swindling.
According to Interfax, a measure of restraint in the form of detention was elected to Ivlev, because the court did not consider it possible to release him on bail (the agency reported on the amount of $ 5 million, which was proposed by relatives of 33-year-old parliamentarian) or under house arrest.
Earlier, the ICR reported that with regard to Ivlev, who was detained in Moscow on the eve when receiving a bribe, a criminal case was initiated under Swindling on an especially large scale (part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code).
Previously, the CrimeRussia reported that, according to investigators, Yuri Ivlev suggested a mediator of the defendant involved in the case of 2-million-dollar bribe to soften the measure of restraint. The MP assured that he could affect through a friend in law enforcement body.
The ICR is checking into former Head of the Moscow Bureau of Forensic Expertise Evgeny Kildyushov and his deputy Oksana Doronina for using gray schemes of procurement and payment of salaries to ‘ghost employees’. Last week, the bureau was searched by the FSB.
