Siloviki detain deputy minister for internal policy of Murmansk region
Andrey Sakharov is suspected of corruption.
In the evening on Tuesday, September 25, employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Murmansk region detained Deputy Minister for Internal Policy and Mass Communications Andrey Sakharov, Newstes.ru reports.
The official is suspected of corruption; he has not yet been charged.
In September 2017, Sakharov served as Deputy Head of the Severomorsk administration. Then it was reported that the official receiving a bribe of 250 thousand rubles ($3800). However, the story was not investigated, and Sakharov moved to the regional government.
