Sechin's interrogations upon Ulyukaev's case published
It contradicts some facts which were earlier announced in court.
BBC Russian service studied protocols of three interrogations of Rosneft head Igor Sechin and published some exposures. It is remarkable that some indications contradict the materials of Sechin’s phone tapping announced in court.
Thus, during one of the hearings it was stated that in day of the detention of the Ministry of Economic Development ex-Head Sechin himself called Ulyukaev and, referring to business, asked him to arrive to his office. According to the protocol of interrogation of January 17, 2017, the head of Rosneft claimed that Ulyukaev called him at about noon in day of the detention and the top manager considered it as a “repeated requirement of a bribe”. As a witness of the conversation he called Oleg Feoktistov heading the security department of Rosneft. Sechin also noted that when Ulyukaev found out about Sechin's departure to a business trip, he insisted on a meeting in the Rosneft office on the same day.
During the first interrogation held on November 15, 2016 Igor Sechin said that first time Ulyukaev demanded a bribe was in September-October. The head of Rosneft called the specific place where the talk happened - it was a summit in Goa. According to him, the Minister reached him at the summit and started discussing privatization of Bashneft. According to Sechin, Ulyukaev said that the transaction is already approved by the Government, and “asked to thank him somehow for the positive decision by payment of the so-called award”. When Sechin asked how should he understand the request, the Minister “showed the amount of the reward with a gesture in the form of two fingers, specifying that this gesture corresponds to 2 million US dollars”, it is told in the protocol of interrogation of the top manager.
He specified that there were no witnesses of the talk, no one heard the conversation, but security service specialists of Rosneft can confirm the fact of the meeting, according to Sechin. By the way, in court they said that they did not see similar gestures from Ulyukaev, while the ex-Minister denies the fact of the talk in general.
Sechin also told that after coming back from Goa he informed Oleg Feoktistov of Ulyukaev's requirements. Feoktistov then attracted the Federal Security Service. Both Feoktistov, and Sechin agreed to participate in an operational experiment during which on November 14, 2016 Alexey Ulyukaev was detained.
To recall, the head of Rosneft has not come to the hearing of the ex-Minister’s case three times in spite of the fact that he is the principal witness. Sechin also did not confirm receiving of summons. Moreover, the top manager told he would be too busy till the end of the year, so he is hardly to be present at the hearing.
Police officers took Kristina Morozova to a police station to check her identity, where she ended up getting a closed craniocerebral injury, minor cerebral contusion, fissure fracture of her cheekbone, fracture of her left sphenoid bone, and large leg bruise.
Viktor Trutnev, ex-Head of the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, has finished his career ‘in style’ – he went to jail. The Moscow Garrison Military Court has recently detained the retired general for the duration of the investigation. The former police commander is accused of mediation in bribery and bribe extortion. Trutnev was turned in by his former accomplices – FSB officers trying to extort 3 million rubles ($52.3 thousand) from the Director of Snegirev Research Technological Institute in exchange for covering up violations identified at the enterprise.
