Seven have been detained in the Moscow region on suspicion of producing fake documents for more than 200 illegal migrants from Uzbekistan, the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry reports. Among the detainees are two employees of the migration department.

The investigation charged the detainees with organizing illegal migration (part 2 of Art. 322.1 of the Criminal Code), RIA Novosti reports. Four defendants in the case have been placed into custody, three were placed into house arrest, on condition of own recognizance and proper behavior.
