Searches and seizure of documents carried out in Balashikha administration
One of the officials has been suspected of taking a bribe on an especially large scale.
Security officials of the Investigative Committee of Russia and Federal Security Service have arrived to the administration of Moscow region’s Balashikha to carry out searches. According to TASS sources, law enforcement officials are also carrying out seizure of documents.
Meanwhile, Komsomolskaya pravda source notes that the intelligence services’ and investigators’ visit is tied to the interest to one of the administration’s officials who is being suspected of taking a bribe on an especially large scale.
“The suspect works with the City Department of transport, roads and communication,” the newspaper’s source stated.
The departments have not commented upon the situation yet.
