Rostov official caught in issue of disability certificates for bribes
For seven years, an employee of the Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise has issued about 10.000 forged documents.
Employee of Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Rostov region of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation was convicted of issuing false certificates of disability - in the period from 2010 to 2017, the official issued about 10.000 copies of such documents, RIA Novosti reported citing a source in law enforcement agencies of the region.
The detainee confessed, the interlocutor of the agency said. For seven years, the official earned almost 4 million rubles ($69.200).
According to the agency, three more officials are involved in the case - as the investigation established, the accused potioned money out with the head of the Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Rostov region of the RF Ministry of Labor, his deputy, and other employees of the institution.
It notes that the officers of the FSB and the Investigative Committee continue to identify all participants in the corruption scheme.
