Rosreestr employee detained for bribe in Krasnodar Krai
An official demanded more than a million rubles ($15.4 thousand) from a resident of Temryuk district, promising to help avoid criminal responsibility.
Temryuk, Krasnodar Krai, saw FSB officers detaining a high-ranking official of Federal Fiscal Enterprise Rosreestr, who extorted a bribe of more than a million rubles ($15.4 thousand)from a local resident. For this, he promised to take advantage of his connections in law enforcement bodies and help the victim escape criminal responsibility, reports Komsomolskaya Pravda.
The official, who, according to unconfirmed data, is the Head of the local branch of Rosreestr, was detained while transferring money. The detention, which took place on Tamanskaya Street, got caught on video. The footage shows how the operatives put cuffs on the man's knees, and then put him in a car.
The press service of the FSB of Russia for Krasnodar Krai reported that at the present time all the circumstances of the crime are being established.
