Cars Lexus LX 570 and GAZ 21 of ex-governor of the Sakhalin Region and Mercedes Benz E250 CGI belonging to the “billionaire colonel” will be sold on an auction.
Rosimushchestvo tenders cars, confiscated in favor of the state from the ex-governor of the Sakhalin Region, Alexander Khoroshavin, and the former head of the department “T” of the General Administration for Economic Security and Combatting the Corruption, Colonel Dmitry Zakharchenko, who were accused of corruption crimes. This was reported by the press service of the department.
The belonging to the former governor, namely, Lexus LX 570 of 2010 and GAZ 21 Volga of 1968 will be placed on auction. The initial price for Lexus is 2.6 million rubles ($ 42000), the price of Volga will be 895 thousand rubles ($ 14000).
The management of Rosimushestvo for the Rostov Region also put out the car of Dmitry Zakharchenko, Mercedes Benz E250 CGI of 2010. The initial price for the car is 986 thousand rubles ($ 16000).
Apart from that, the cars of the former deputy director of the forestry complex of the Tyumen Region, Alexey Payvin, namely, a BMW X1 XDRIVE 28I of 2012 (1.28 million rubles - $ 21000) and Infiniti G 25 of 2011 (1 million rubles - $ 16000) will be sold as well. In 2014, for receiving a bribe on a particularly large scale, Payvin was sentenced to 8.5 years in a strict-security prison and a fine of 10 million rubles ($ 160000).
The proceeds from the sale of vehicles will be transferred to the federal budget.
