Rogozin and his father-in-law from KGB turn out to own cottages worth $ 5.5 million
The head of Roscosmos acquired half a hectare of land on which construction is actively underway.
The Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin and his father-in-law, a former KGB officer Gennady Serebryakov own cottages in Khimki worth a total of about 350 million rubles ($ 5.5 million), Alexey Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Fund (FBK) reported. According to the Fund’s estimates, the amount is about three times higher than Rogozin’s income for his whole life.
The FBK estimated Rogozin’s cottage and land plot at 200 million rubles ($ 3.2 million), and the neighboring plot with the house of the father of his wife at 150 million rubles ($ 2.3 million). The area of Rogozin’s house is 800 square meters and the land plot surrounding it is 50 acres. Serebryakov’s property is located nearby. He bought the cottage at the age of 77.
According to Rogozin’s declaration, in 2018 the head of Roscosmos earned 29.5 million rubles ($ 461,000).
