Recordings of conversations between Sechin and Ulyukaev go online
Moment of Ulyukaev’s arrival to office of Rosneft in official car was captured on a video.
Another recording of telephone conversation of the ex-Minister of Economic Development, Alexey Ulyukaev, and the head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, has gone online. Besides, a video from surveillance cameras accustomed to case papers appeared in open access.
The moment of Ulyukaev’s arrival in an official car to office of Rosneft was captured on the video, as well as his departure - several people were chasing the car. In several hours after these shots, the minister was detained. On another recoding Sechin was waiting for Ulyukaev on the street and ordered someone to park the car.
As for the audio, those were telephone conversation of November 14, 2016 in which Sechin invites the official to his office, and their conversations at the office of Rosneft.
Earlier during a court session in Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow decryptions of some telephone negotiations and Ulyukaev and Sechin's personal meeting were announced.
To recall, the ex-minister is accused of taking a bribe in 2 million dollars ($33 thousand) so that the Ministry of Economic Development would accept transaction on acquisition of Bashneft by Rosneft. Ulyukaev denies his fault and insists that Sechin and the general of the Federal Security Service Oleg Feoktistov participated in a provocation against him.
According to the Russian MIA’s spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, the detention of Russian woman Maria Butina in the US was specifically timed to coincide with the summit of Putin and Trump in order to minimize the effect of the presidents’ meeting.
