Police detains former head of Roscosmos head enterprise
Earlier, Rogozin dismissed the suspect after checking the results of his work.
Former acting CEO of NPO Tekhnomash Dmitry Panov was detained by employees of the MIA’s Economic Security and Anti-Corruption Department, TASS reports, citing a source in the security forces. Tekhnomash is the head enterprise of Roscosmos state corporation.
Since 2012, Panov has been holding the position of the first deputy CEO at Tekhnomash, and then, until August 2018 worked as the acting CEO. In May 2018, Roscosmos was headed by former Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, after which personnel changes were initiated in the state corporation.
Panov was fired along with two advisers after checking the results of his activities with which Rogozin got familiarized. The company also underwent an internal audit, the results of which were sent to the Prosecutor’s Office.
