Pistol with knocked off license number found in detained Chekhov police chief’s house
The FSB is set about cultivating Chekhov’s high-ups.
During the searches in Chekhov Chief of Police Andrey Bolshakov’s country house, operatives found a Makarov pistol with knocked off license number. This is reported by sources at the MIA General Administration in the Moscow region.
It was previously reported that the chief of Chekhov police and four more police officers were detained by FSB operatives on suspicion of taking a bribe from criminals for destroying material evidence. In addition, according to the FSB, law enforcement officers patronized the Moscow region gang, assisting them in the conduct of an illegal business.
The detainees include Deputy Head of the Chekhov Department of Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Aleksandr Zaytsev, and Department Head Aleksandr Mazepa.
